We won Winery of the Year 2024 in the "Medium-Sized Winery" category
Gotberg Winery is located near Hustopeče in the Mikulov wine region. We care for our vineyards with respect for nature, and we are proud holders of BIO certification. We have been producing high-quality attribute wines exclusively from our own grapes since 2010. Regular successes of our wines in international competitions are a reward for the care we give to our wines. The Gotberg Winery building is an example of modern wine architecture. When visiting the winery, you can taste wines from our current selection. Wine and light refreshments can be purchased at reception. The indoor areas and terrace with a beautiful view of Pálava and Nové Mlýny lakes are available for tasting and pleasant relaxation. Experiencing the unique genius loci of the winery, combined with refreshing wines, will make your visit an experience you will want to repeat. We welcome you anytime during opening hours; during the main season, we are open every day.
We will introduce you to our vineyards, winery and guide you through its technological area. The guided tour will conclude with a sommelier-led tasting of six samples of our wine, complemented by excellent farmhouse cheeses and pastries.

After the guided tasting, you can use seven double rooms for overnight stays. Maximum capacity is 14 people. Accommodation is directly on the premises of the winery's main building. All rooms are situated so that you wake up with a unique view of Pálava and Mušov lakes.

The Wine Salon – National Wine Competition of the Czech Republic is the final competition of the National Wine Competition system. Each year, the competition selects the best wine with the title "Champion," as well as "Category Winners" and "Best Collection." The hundred best wines of the competition are awarded the gold medal of the Wine Salon of the Czech Republic. The competition is followed by a year-round public tasting Wine Salon – an exhibition of the best hundred wines, located in the cellar premises of the state château in Valtice.
